Well, it's Sunday. No one on site. I mark HBFS brothers territory by painting the bodega wall.
The table on the concrete formwork and reinforcement production area is finished.
After a month's work, we're making good progress. Most importantly, the workers are happy. In addition to the comfort of the bodega with internet, an electrical network with fixed sockets and lights, and the shower, they realize that they are being treated well, with different techniques that allow them to work less hard. There's an exchange of good practices going on, in which they work well and the HBFS returns the favor.
I'm thinking about the next few weeks;
- I need to train Esteban in MIG welding and in the use of a formwork production table.
- We're going to start creating the foundation walls; everything needs to be precisely marked out on the ground.
- We're about to get down to the nitty-gritty with the manual cleaning of the foundation trenches - it's very hot.
- Alongside the workers, the tractor continues to work, and we have to manage everyone's safety.
